Rev. Taye Hailu
Dessie H. Dixon is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. She presently serves as a member of the leadership team for the minister’s wives at the Baptist Convention of Maryland /Delaware and leader of the Ministers Wives’ Network for the Prince George’s Baptist Association. Mrs. Dixon served with her husband on the field as a Home Missionary for the Southern Baptist Convention for a period of eight years.
Rev. Taye Hailu is the Pastor of New Direction Church in Temple Hills, MD. Pastor Hailu believes and operates on the principle as spoken by the prophet Hosea, “My people perish for the lack of knowledge…” (Hosea 4:6). Pastor Hailu has become a mentor to many youth and young adults in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. He is an extraordinary teacher with a passion to share Jesus Christ with others.
LaTarrea Jackson is a graduate of Bowie State University in Bowie, MD where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Mrs. Jackson also studied Web Design at Glendale Community College in Glendale, CA. She is the founder of SPICE The Network for Women, which is a network that focus on healthy sisterhood, community outreach, mentorship, and relaxation. LaTarrea has a heart for encouraging people and serving the community.
