About The Antioch Experience

The Antioch Experience was created out of a burning desire in the heart of Pastor James Dixon, Jr. to influence and strengthen the spiritual lives of God’s people, thus, enhancing the body of Christ from a biblical world view with a kingdom mandate. The Antioch Experience is a non-exclusive culture sensitive process to reach the black community, which includes African American, African, Caribbean, as well as the Multi-Ethnic community.

The Antioch Church Planting Center and Institute serves the Greater D. C., Maryland/Delaware and Northern Virginia region. The Antioch Experience comprises The Antioch Institute, The Church Planting Center and The Church Planting Network. The purpose of the two step approach is to contextually address the equipping of leaders and theological development of potential church planters who will be equipped to plant the gospel and open the door to new churches. The church planting center will also provide for the church planters, coaching, fellowship, and mentoring through the church planter networks.

Antioch Institute

The primary student for which the institute

exists is the adult believer who has not completed Bible college or seminary training.

We affirm the benefit of Bible colleges and seminaries, and we recognize circumstances do not make it possible for all who are called into ministry to attend them. Even so, all are welcomed and will benefit from this training, and we encourage any desiring to apply.
